Unlock the real world on foot

The map starts black. Only the ground you have walked lights up, and it stays lit. This is not a game that tells you where to go — it turns the walking you already do into something you can see.

Only what you walked

A fog map made of hexagons. Cells you actually walk through unlock for good. No shortcuts, and riding does not count.

We do not keep where you walked

Your GPS readings are used to work out which map cells you unlocked, and then they are thrown away. They are never written to our database. Nobody — including us — can pull up the route you took, because it does not exist anywhere after the moment it was counted.

Places along the way

You find a place by walking up to it. Rarity is not about fame — it is how few people have actually stood there.

Walk together

Read a code out to whoever is with you and the walk counts as one you took together. What is left afterwards is a map the two of you cleared.
